In my experience, it's easier to make your original reservation for the maximum time you think you'll need it and then closer to the date, reduce it to what you really need. Holding a room is a lot more certain than trying to extend your stay and risking that the hotel has already booked the room to someone else. |

| Roxanne: YES. When Registration opens (much like RT) you pay your registration right then.
Rooms are RESERVED, and you take care of payments at the event.
Blue: I believe so yes, but Honestly? We run out of stuff quickly. For you, since you won, you ONLY get a room Comped Wed-Sunday. Anything else you have to pay for.

| yea I know. I don't think I could squeeze another day out of the Hubby anyway lol That will be the longest he's ever taken care of both boys w/o me |

| Since registration is fast approaching I wanted to make sure I have my info correct, the website we register at is Authorsafterdark.org and was wondering can paypal also be used to pay or just credit card? thanks guys  |

| I have a question. I read somewhere on the forum about the idea of making a map of the area around the hotel with stores and things we might find helpful listed on it. It sounded like a awesome idea and I was wondering if you guys were still going to do that? |

| Well heres the thing. On bourbon theres 2 things aside from hotels: BARS and STRIP CLUBS. If you want a map with that Im sure the hotel can help you, but as of right now, the only map we are making is the Author Pub Crawl map... because theres not much else about. NOW... the hotel will have maps of the quarter at the hotel, but trying to compile a map of places is hard when the district your in is known for drinking.
Also, NOLA's CVB has been less then helpful, (unlike the Savannah one which is AWESOME) and they have discouraged us from doing anything like that, preferring to remind us that they are a recovering city, and we should employ guest services in the city to do it. We dont have that kinda money (like for the pub crawl, they wanted 15$ a head PLUS DRINKS to make a map for us... Um... No.)

Hi.
AAD makes sure that theres not only a vegetarian option but a gluten free option as well. other then that, unless its absolutely necessary we cant do much more in a dietary sense.
