Since the hubs isn't coming with (he's not into books), I'm in need of a roommate or two. But because I'll be in school, I won't be able to make it the entire time. I'll be driving into town probably Friday evening on. I won't know for sure until I get my school schedule.

your school starts very early.

We don't get breaks between semesters since it's a very intense program. I start the program next week and it'll go for 24 months almost straight. We'll get about 2 weeks off for Christmas. Know the worst part? I don't really want to be an X-Ray Tech, but if I want to do CT, Ultrasound, or MRI, I have to go through this program first before I can do any of those programs. *sigh* The things I do for my education. Okay, the money that the education will bring.

I'll definitely be needing a roomie or two, I plan on being down there for about a week--its my first time in New Orleans, I'm making the most of it!--I'm thinking August 6th to August 12th so that I have enough time to settle in before the con starts the 8th and can wander the city a bit.

I'm hoping to make it so. Now that I ahve a job that will give me <i>actual</i> vacation/personal/sick days and a financial plan to afford said plans, I drew up a list of places I want to visit. NOLA was on the list before I found out AAD2012 was going to be there!
