Cash definitely had to work through a lot, losing his mate then turning from his pack he isolated himself and gave up. It took Rylie, a girl in trouble to make him see that life's still worth living. I enjoyed the conflict in this book and also the willingness of Cash to finally care about something other than himself. His pack needed him back but he felt that he had nothing to offer them. Rylie was a way for him to finally help someone else and feel useful.
Rylie had the courage to leave but didn't know where to turn, when she landed herself in Cash's car it was instant attraction and also fear. How could she be attracted to this man whom she just met and is only helping her not truly attracted to her, or so she thinks. Can Rylie defy pack law and not face the consequences?
I loved this story and the characters, Cash's twin, her mate, and the Alpha were great characters and I'm hoping there will be another book about either the Montana pack or the Wyoming pack. Rylie's best friend was willing to help her even if it meant losing her because she just wanted her to be happy. I love the Pack dynamic they follow a strict law but are also fierce in protecting their family. An excellent read!
