When are people planning to arrive?

So, I'm just curious... are people planning to try to come out to NOLA early and take in the sights. I'm thinking of trying to convince the boy-person we should make a vacation out of it.

Also. How come I seem to be the only one who is willing to make a new topic thread?

My ass will be there with my assistant, Joe and half of my staff will be there that sunday before...

I would love to come out early so I can see everything.

I'm hoping to come at least a day or two ahead of time & prob stay for a day or two after (being my first time in NOLA I'm planning to make the most out of it!) now that I know the con rate is for three days before & three days after definitely going to be exploring the city as much as I can!

I want to make at least a week of the trip, would be so amazing! Never been to NOLA, farthest I've been from the west coast was when I was 16 went to Nashville and down to Graceland was so much fun!! Can't wait!

I think I have my hubby talked into flying to NO with me a few days before AAD starts so we can explore the area a little together & then he is going to fly home on Wednesday while my daughter flys down to attend AAD with me. It is so super great that the hotel is extending the con rate 3 days before & 3 days after. I'm sure this is another example of Stella's super dedication and organization.

This is going to be our big trip for the year as far as I know so our budget is pretty much going to determine when we arrive/leave. We might be coming for the duration of the con and utilizing the extra time during the event to explore.

My cousin and I have decided to make it a week long event!!!

I am kinda planning to get there earlier and staying a few days later...

definitely arriving a day or two early.

i want to be there monday some time and then leave by at least monday sometime... just so i can get the full impact of NOLA and the convention.... i can't wait to meet all of you....

I think i will get there Wednesday, my youngest son is going to have a hard time with me gone, he's a big momma's boy Probably leave Sunday evening

Ya it is NOT kid friendly!!!! This is our ADULT vacation!!! I will give my daughter a hug and kiss and I am out the door!! LOL well that sounds bad but I need some adult time!!!

My husband is going to come to NOLA with me so we'll probably come a day or two early and explore. I do love that there is more evening time free. I was in Philly and had to skip out on a few fun events in order to explore Philly with some friends that live in the area.

Im suggesting everyone come in wed. the event starts WED night..

If your an author, I suggest coming in TUESDAY to get yourself all organized... next year is going to be a huge deal so you want to be organized.

I might come in on Monday. Have someone meeting me too that is from the area she wants to take me around.
