| So, I'm just curious... are people planning to try to come out to NOLA early and take in the sights. I'm thinking of trying to convince the boy-person we should make a vacation out of it. Also. How come I seem to be the only one who is willing to make a new topic thread?  |

| I'm hoping to come at least a day or two ahead of time & prob stay for a day or two after (being my first time in NOLA I'm planning to make the most out of it!) now that I know the con rate is for three days before & three days after  definitely going to be exploring the city as much as I can! |

| I want to make at least a week of the trip, would be so amazing! Never been to NOLA, farthest I've been from the west coast was when I was 16 went to Nashville and down to Graceland was so much fun!! Can't wait! |

| I think I have my hubby talked into flying to NO with me a few days before AAD starts so we can explore the area a little together & then he is going to fly home on Wednesday while my daughter flys down to attend AAD with me. It is so super great that the hotel is extending the con rate 3 days before & 3 days after. I'm sure this is another example of Stella's super dedication and organization. |

| This is going to be our big trip for the year as far as I know so our budget is pretty much going to determine when we arrive/leave. We might be coming for the duration of the con and utilizing the extra time during the event to explore. |
