Kate was hurt after the car crash, she never really understood what happened when all of the sudden her two best friends stopped talking to her leaving her not only hurt and confused but feeling alone. Kate comes back to visit her gran for the holidays only to run straight into Troy who tells her that gran is in Peru. Troy offers to take her to dinner and explain what happened 7 years ago after the car crash to make the twins stop talking to her.

He decides it's best to just stay away from Kate but after Troy and Kate go out to dinner and Troy finds himself unable to stop his shift in front of Kate, Rance is left to take care of Kate and explain what happened. He finds being alone with her a temptation he can't deny.
Kate, Troy and Rance... what can I say! The entire Loneekawa Tribe are wolf shifters, the braves mate for life but are forbidden from mating with humans. Troy and Rance are twin shifters who share the same birthday as Kate and the three were attached up until they were 16 and a joy ride ended up in a car accident. The boy's secret was almost revealed so they cut ties with Kate to protect her and their secret. After 7 years the three are finally thrown back together where a batch of cookies and a little magic stir up more trouble than the three are ready for!
I really enjoyed this book, the m/f/m element is hard to write well but I think this author definitely pulled it off. I can't wait to start reading more from Kris Cook!
