So Jennifer has a room to rent, Mac is temporarily living in the complex with his Uncle and is looking for a place. When Jennifer drops her grocery bag outside her apartment and Mac stops to help sparks fly, only enhanced by the fact that Jennifer asks Mac if he's her 4 o'clock and asks if he wants to see the bed first... Needless to say Mac gets the signals crossed and then realizes his mistake when she asks him if he's ready to fill out the application for the apartment. Luckily he was already planning on moving out of his Uncles place.
After finding out that Jennifer's Mother has died and Jennifer is asked if she's willing to become a foster parent for her 7 year old sister. Now the two are dealing with a child who has some obvious problems, and Jennifer is trying to avoid the chemistry that's undeniable around her and Mac. Mac is trying to break down her shields and start a relationship. Jennifer says casual sex is fine but no expectations.
I loved the chemistry between Jennifer and Mac, the tension you feel from the beginning and the obstacles that get in their way.
