I think the author field trips are super fantastic idea. I have been reading some of the authors also and just can't wait!!!

for those of us who do not get the chance to go on the field trips will some of you take off in your own groups to site see? I would love to see more of New Orleans but a little apprehensive to hit the town on my own.

I'm thinking the same thing, hopefully I won't be at the conference alone but wouldn't mind going out in small groups if I can't go on the field trips.

oh sounds like fun! seeing as it's prob. just gonna be me and one other friend I think it's a great idea for a bunch of us to go site seeing together!

That's the great thing about this forum. It gives us a chance to get to know each other a little bit and makes it easier to meet and make plans to do thing together in NO.

I've heard about tours you can take of local cemeteries, and i think it said they were at night. sounds like spooky fun! would love to check out the cemeteries!
