| this might be a no brainer... but considering refunds are until July, is the registration fee paid upfront (in september) when you register for AAD 2012? | |

| we have 80 authors. 40 NY and 40 Small press. We have a bunch of authors already chosen and this is because they either write with NOLA as a backdrop for their books OR their publishers have offered up goodies, books and promo.
AAD is about the reader, so the pubs that offer stuff like free books, parties and such, will be allowed to get authors attached to the event. Once registration opens, author spots are on a first come first serve basis provided they meet the criteria.
